It helps create complex and secure passwords consisting of Latin letters, numbers, and special characters, and stores them in an encrypted vault. The main function of the program is to protect the user’s confidential data. Access to the vault is secured with a single master password known only to the owner. The application can operate offline, and an internet connection is required to synchronize data between devices.
Development PlansIn the future, the developers plan to significantly expand iazKeeper’s capabilities, with a strong focus on convenience and security:
- Desktop applications: Versions for Windows, macOS, and Linux are planned, allowing users to manage their passwords not only from mobile devices but also from computers.
- Proprietary cloud for password storage: To ensure greater reliability and control over data, a proprietary cloud storage service will be created. This will allow users to securely synchronize their passwords across devices without relying on third-party services.
- TOTP support for two-factor authentication: A feature for generating time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) will be added, enabling iazKeeper to serve as a full-fledged tool for two-factor authentication on various websites and services.
- Enhanced security: Continuous improvement of encryption algorithms and the introduction of new data protection mechanisms to ensure maximum safety of users’ information.
